The 35th Tokyo Advertising Association Shirakawa Shinobu Award, presented to individuals who have contributed to the development and advancement of advertising, was awarded on December 9 to Mr. Junji Narita, Chairman of Hakuhodo DY Holdings and Chairman of Hakuhodo.
Additionally, the Special Achievement Award will be presented to Toshiaki Nozue, Chairman of the Japan Advertising Content Producers Association (former Managing Director of Dentsu Inc.). The awards ceremony will be held in Tokyo on February 23 next year.
The award was established in 1982 to honor the outstanding achievements of the late Shinobu Shirakawa, the first chairman of the Japan Advertising Association (now the Tokyo Advertising Association), based on a donation from him.
