Dentsu Tech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dentsu Inc., announced on December 24 that it will establish a new company, Promotech IHQ, in Thailand. This new entity will oversee specialized promotion companies operating across Asia, capitalizing on Thailand's new tax and financial incentives for foreign investment. Operations will commence on January 1, 2016.
To meet the promotional needs of client companies across Asia, the Dentsu Group first established Promotech in Singapore in 2011 as a specialized company in this field. Since then, it has established Promotech sales bases in six Asian countries (India, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia).
Currently, the group operates a total of eight sales offices in these rapidly growing countries, with continued robust business growth expected beyond 2016. Particularly in Thailand, Promotech Thailand, established in 2013, has secured numerous large-scale projects, making the strengthening and expansion of its service infrastructure an urgent priority.
In light of this situation, and to maximize the benefits of the Thai government's policy revisions, Promotec decided to establish a regional headquarters company in Thailand. By consolidating the oversight and management functions for all Promotec locations, the company aims to reduce management costs. Furthermore, in its business operations, Promotec will advance the further refinement of its "Japan Quality" services, which represent its core strength.
Furthermore, in conducting business operations, Promotec will collaborate with the Dentsu Group companies across Asia to address the diversifying and increasingly sophisticated promotional needs of client companies.
