Dentsu Inc. Agrees to Acquire 100% Stake in Leading Czech Digital Agency AdExpress

On March 9, Dentsu Inc.'s overseas headquarters, Dentsu Aegis Network, announced it had reached an agreement with shareholders to acquire 100% of the shares in Adexpres.com s.r.o., a leading Czech digital agency.

Founded in 2008, Adexpres s.r.o. is one of the fastest-growing digital agencies in the Czech Republic, specializing in services such as digital media strategy development, planning, and media buying.

Its subsidiaries include the digital creative agency "Bistro," "Bistro Social" with strengths in social media, and "Mobile Internet," specializing in mobile communication strategy and application development. Currently, the group's 90 employees provide comprehensive digital services to numerous local and global companies. The objective of this acquisition is to strengthen digital services and further enhance the Dentsu Group's competitive advantage not only in the Czech Republic but also across Central and Eastern Europe. Dentsu plans to integrate AdExpress into Dentsu Aegis Network Czech Republic & Slovakia.

According to global advertising expenditure growth forecasts (September 2015) by Carat, the group's media communications agency, Czech digital advertising expenditure grew 5% year-on-year in 2014. Growth is projected to be 7% for both 2015 and 2016.
