What feelings do Kyary and others want to convey with the Coca-Cola stamp bottles?

The Coca-Cola System launched its "Taste the Feeling" campaign globally starting January 2016 (Related article: http://dentsu-ho.com/articles/3619 ). Under the concept "Share a Coke," it launched "Coca-Cola Stamp Bottles" on March 28 featuring stamps on the product labels that convey everyday feelings through various expressions and words. A new TV commercial is also airing.

As a highlight of the stamp bottles, Coca-Cola collaborated with Warner Music Japan's popular record label "unBORDE". The label's representative artists, including ambassadors such as Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, RIP SLYME, and Team Shachihoko, were featured.

While the stamp bottles come in 44 varieties, 12 of them express the ambassadors' individual personalities.

A commemorative event was held at Spiral Wheel in Minato Ward, Tokyo, on the release date, the 28th.

The event opened with a screening of the "Coca-Cola Stamp Bottle" commercial, followed by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu taking the stage.

In the commercial, Kyary, feeling down after a rough live rehearsal, receives a Stamp Bottle from her father with the message "Get pumped!" written on it. Kyary takes a photo of the Stamp Bottle with "Roger that!" written on it and emails it back to her father. Regaining her motivation, Kyary energetically runs onto the stage the next day. Departing from Kyary's usual pop aesthetic, the commercial centers on the stamp bottle to depict a heartwarming father-daughter relationship. The CM song is "Saikou" (Greatest), written specifically for the commercial and also serving as Kyary's 5th anniversary debut song.

Kyary commented, "Sometimes it's hard to express feelings like gratitude honestly. That's when a stamp bottle can convey your thoughts." She then revealed her own collaboration stamp, "Kya!", from the displayed collection. This stamp combines an illustration featuring striking false eyelashes with text. "I really love the girly cuteness and the 'Kya!' part, which is also part of my name," she shared. Members of Team Shachihoko and Sacred Kamatte-chan also appeared on stage, toasting with Stamp Bottle. Team Shachihoko's stamp combines an illustration of a shachihoko (a mythical dolphin-like creature) on the head with the word "runrun," expressing the joy of live performances. Sacred Kamatte-chan's stamp features an illustration with their unique style and a "?" symbol, meant for asking "Do you like me?" which drew laughter.

Also rushing to the venue were Yasutaka Nakata, who is also Kyary's sound producer, and PES from RIP SLYME. The two wrote the lyrics, composed, and arranged the collaboration song "Feel" between Amborde and Coca-Cola. The song can be accessed and listened to via the QR code on the stamp bottle label.
