Chocola BB New TV Commercial Features Nagasaku and Araki

Eisai held a press conference for its new "Chocola BB" commercial at Meguro Gajoen in Tokyo on May 19.

At the venue, commercials were screened: the "Chocola, Here We Go" edition featuring Nagasaku and Araki co-starring as senior and junior colleagues in an everyday office setting; and individual editions where each actress appeared alone: "Chocola, Please Work! Skin Trouble," "Chocola, Please Work! Mouth Ulcers," and "Chocola, Please Work! Acne." The two image characters then took the stage. Nagisa shared her thoughts on the commercial shoot, saying, "Winter filming was cold, and it was tough portraying an energetic woman." Aiki commented, "Filming through a mirror and acting while talking to Chocola-kun, who wasn't physically present, was challenging."

Appearing on stage as guests to solve working women's problems were the three members of the comedy trio Panther (Satoshi Mukai, Ryotaro Suga, and Takahiro Ogata). They listened to Nagasaku and Araki's concerns, proposed solutions, and the two women then judged the answers.

In response to Nagasaku's question, "What should I do when I wake up looking pale and with breakouts?", Ogata offered the bizarre answer: "You just have to power through with mental strength. Sweat it out with determination to hydrate your skin. For women, kiss to release hormones." This flopped, earning an X.

For Araki's question, "How can I improve my junior skills in my relationship with my senior?", Mukai gave a sensible answer using his own interactions with his senior comedian, Naoki Matayoshi of PEACE, as an example: "Laugh even at unfunny jokes. A smile is important." He received a check mark.

When Mukai remarked, "This really shows how unnecessary Ogata is in situations like this," Ogata himself nearly flopped again with "After retiring, I'll open a ramen shop back home." However, he redeemed himself at the end by adding, "I'll keep loving Chocola as my partner in life," partly because he's a regular user.
