Dentsu Inc. Reaches Agreement to Acquire 100% of Shares in Australian CRM Agency "With Collective"
Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Nao Ishii; Capital: ¥74,609.81 million) of Dentsu Inc. has reached an agreement with the shareholders of Australian CRM agency WiTH Collective Services Pty Ltd (Headquarters: Sydney, Co-Founder & CEO: Justin Hind, hereinafter "WiTH Collective") to acquire 100% of its shares.
The purpose of this acquisition is to strengthen and expand the Group's capabilities in services within the most prominent areas of the Australian advertising industry today—direct marketing and CRM—which leverage data, technology, and creative. This will further enhance the Group's presence in the country.
Although a relatively young company founded in 2010, With Collective now provides high-quality services to globally recognized companies and has earned high praise from multiple quarters.
Most recently, in 2015, it was selected as Direct Marketing Agency of the Year by the influential industry publication B&T Magazine and as Direct Agency of the Year by Mumbrella Magazine. Furthermore, in 2014, it received the Digital Agency of the Year award in Australia and the Specialist Agency of the Year award in Australia/New Zealand, both selected by Campaign Asia-Pacific.
The impact of this matter on the Company's consolidated results for the fiscal year ending December 2016 is immaterial.
