Dream Jumbo Lottery with 700 Million Yen in Prizes Including First Prize and Adjacent Prizes Now on Sale Collaboration with Takarazuka Revue

On May 10th, the "Dream Jumbo Lottery" (718th National Autonomous Lottery), offering a combined first prize and adjacent prizes totaling 700 million yen, and the "Dream Jumbo Mini 100 Million Yen" (719th National Autonomous Lottery), featuring a first prize of 100 million yen, went on sale nationwide simultaneously. On the same day, a commemorative event was held at the Nishi-Ginza Chance Center in Chuo Ward, Tokyo. Known for its high number of big-win tickets, the center sees fans lining up.

At the start, lottery "Goddess of Fortune" Yuki Someoka took the stage. She introduced this year's promotions: the "Dream Takarazuka Revue Present Campaign" offering tickets and other prizes in collaboration with the Takarazuka Revue; the opening of the "Dream 700 Million Yen ~ Dream Jumbo Cafe ~" gallery showcasing ultra-luxury items; and the "Jumbo Gacha" web campaign offering luxurious prizes.

Actor Koji Yakusho, the Jumbo Lottery's CM character, former AKB48 member Haruka Shimazaki, and Takarazuka Revue Star Yuzuru Beni, who co-stars with him in the TV commercials, appeared on stage for a talk segment.

The "Samurai Appears: Starting Wednesday" story features a mysterious samurai who suddenly time-slips to the present. He is captivated by the beauty of the Takarazuka Revue displayed on a lottery booth monitor, but then faints upon seeing the lottery mascot "Kuu-chan" appear.

Yakuho, playing the samurai, stated, "I want to keep creating fun, dream-filled commercials in various patterns going forward." Noticing Kuu-chan in the venue, he joked, "If I faint, it's all over," drawing laughter.
Ms. Shimazaki, who played the woman the samurai first speaks to, expressed deep emotion: "I've watched these commercials since I was a child, so I never imagined I'd be in one myself."

Ms. Beni introduced herself as "the top star of the Star Troupe," drawing cheers from the many Takarazuka fans packed into the venue. She commented, "It's a wonderful commercial that lets many people know about Takarazuka. I'd be happy if this tie-up helps spread the word about Takarazuka."

When asked "What if you won 700 million yen?", Mr. Yakusho replied, "I'd like to spend 700 million yen making a movie," jokingly adding, "I'd really like Ms. Beni and Ms. Shimazaki to appear as volunteers."

Ms. Shimazaki said, "I'd be happy just playing a passerby alongside Mr. Yakusho. Together, we'd be worth 1.4 billion yen, so I think we could make an even better movie." Ms. Beni stated, "Takarazuka performances aren't cheap, so students often work part-time jobs to buy tickets. That's why I'd like the Star Troupe to host a private performance."

As a vibrant bouquet of rainbow roses—whose flower language is "miracle"—was brought onto the stage, Beni knelt and presented it to Shimazaki in a style reminiscent of Takarazuka Revue: "Haruka! This miracle of our meeting. Please accept this!" Shimazaki blushed, saying, "I've never been called 'Haruka' before, so it kinda makes my heart flutter. I'm in short sleeves, but I'm not cold at all."

Finally, a "Dream Jumbo Lucky Ball" appeared, symbolizing prayers for a big lottery win. Asked to "make it look cool," Beni-san remarked, "I don't think many people can pull a lucky ball coolly," but still devised a decisive pose. Together with Yakusho-san and Shimazaki-san, they broke the lucky ball, concluding the stage event.

The lottery tickets are on sale until June 2nd, with the draw taking place at the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater on June 8th.
