Dentsu Inc. Reaches Agreement to Acquire 100% of Shares in UK Consulting Firm "Customer Framework" Supporting Corporate Digital Transformation
Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toshihiro Yamamoto; Capital: ¥74,609,810,000) has reached an agreement with the shareholders of The Customer Framework Limited (Headquarters: London, CEO & Chairman: Neil Woodcock, hereinafter "The Customer Framework"), a UK consulting firm supporting corporate digital transformation, to acquire 100% of its shares.
Founded in 2006, The Customer Framework possesses strong expertise and know-how in the growing fields of digital transformation and data utilization. It supports companies in rebuilding their consumer dialogue, engagement, and the management of these processes.
The objective of this acquisition is to gain access to SCHEMA, Customer Framework's proprietary methodology for managing consumer dialogue processes. We believe that leveraging SCHEMA will enable us to build stronger strategic relationships with clients by supporting their executive leadership in formulating digital transformation strategies.
Going forward, our global network brands, including Carat, will incorporate this methodology as the backbone of their overall services with the cooperation of Customer Framework. This will enable each brand to differentiate itself from competitors during proposals and create synergies with existing businesses by offering this methodology to clients expanding globally.
The impact of this transaction on Dentsu's consolidated results for the fiscal year ending December 2017 will be minimal.
