Dentsu Inc. Selected for Second Consecutive Year as a Component Stock of the Socially Responsible Investment Index "DJSI Asia Pacific"
Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshihiro Yamamoto) has been selected for the second consecutive year as a constituent stock of the Dow Jones Sustainability Asia Pacific Index (DJSI Asia Pacific), the Asia-Pacific edition of the globally recognized Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) for socially responsible investment (SRI).
The DJSI is a stock index jointly developed by S&P Dow Jones Indices, a U.S. provider of global financial market indices, and RobecoSAM, a Swiss research and rating firm specializing in socially responsible investment. It measures corporate sustainability by broadening the perspective beyond traditional financial analysis to include social and environmental initiatives, selecting companies that demonstrate overall excellence. The DJSI Asia Pacific evaluates approximately 600 major companies in the Asia-Pacific region, with 152 companies (including 72 Japanese companies) selected this year.
