Prefectural Mutual Aid Association Launches campaign with the slogan "True to our promise."

The Prefectural Mutual Aid Associations (known as National Mutual Aid in Kanagawa Prefecture), which operate life and fire mutual aid programs in 39 prefectures, launched their 2018 campaign in April.
The slogan is "True to our promise."
This mutual aid business is implemented by the National Federation of Consumers' Cooperatives (Zen-Sho-Kyo-Ren) under the Consumer Cooperative Act, with approval from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
As a non-profit organization, premiums are affordable, and a system exists to return surplus funds to members as rebates. Total membership across all mutual aid programs reached approximately 21 million (as of March 2017), with over 1.05 million new members joining in fiscal 2016.

On March 31, full-page newspaper advertisements were published in 45 newspapers nationwide. Using the catchphrase "Because we want to protect many lives, we'll speak up a little louder from now on," the ads highlighted the 45-year history and benefits of the mutual aid program. They also conveyed the campaign's message: "From April, we will express our unchanged commitment in a new form," addressing the challenge that the concept and efforts of mutual aid have become harder to communicate in recent years.
On April 2, to mark the campaign launch, full-page color advertisements were placed in all 45 newspapers.
The company stated that the mutual aid system is widely supported because it consistently keeps its "promises" to members, such as affordable premiums, prompt payments, and a rebate system. Under the new slogan "True to our promises," it aims to reaffirm the mutual aid system's values and appeal. The ad prominently featured the campaign's key visual, a "blue envelope" (symbolizing the promise).

Additionally, the television commercial "Declaration" began airing on the same day.

The "blue envelope" displays the mutual aid society's "promise," clearly communicating its benefits. The TV commercial will air sequentially throughout the fiscal year. The campaign also includes web advertisements and other initiatives.
On the 1st, a dedicated campaign website ( http://www.kyosai-cc.or.jp/yakusoku/ ) was launched.
