The Tokyo Advertising Association launches the second session of its "Advertising Future Academy."

The Tokyo Advertising Association will launch the second term of its "Advertising Future Academy" starting July 18.

Established last year as part of the association's 70th-anniversary initiatives, the academy aims to be a space for emergence and exchange where young talents poised to lead the next generation of the advertising industry can learn cutting-edge knowledge and build lasting professional networks.

The overall theme for the second term is "The Future Advertising Ecosystem: How Advertising Will Function in the Society Ahead." The program director is Yasuo Motai, a Dentsu Inc. advisor and sculptor.

The themes, lecturers, and schedule for each session are as follows (honorifics omitted):

[Session 1] July 18
"The Future Advertising Ecosystem" Yasuo Motai

Session 2: August 29
"Insights: On the Modern View of Humanity" Yuichiro Okamoto (Philosopher/Ethicist, Professor, Tamagawa University)

【Session 3】September 18
Planning: On Free Ideas" Keiichi Higuchi (Executive Creative Director, Head of CDC Center, Dentsu Inc.)

[Session 4] October 24
"Words: On Language as the Most Fundamental Platform" Koichi Ito (ECD, Copywriter, Head of Dentsu Creative Direction Center)

【Session 5】November 14
"Communication: Designing Communication from a PR Perspective" Koichiro Shima (President & Co-CEO, Creative Director/Editor, Hakuhodo Kettle)

【Session 6】December 11
"Execution: Stepping into Uncharted Territory" Masayoshi Park (President & Creative Director, VASQUEL)


Target Audience: Member companies, non-member companies, and the general public; young/mid-career professionals (20s to 30s)
Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Venue: Dentsu Inc. Ginza Building 8F Conference Room
Fee: Member Companies = ¥25,000/6 sessions; Non-Member Companies & General Public = ¥30,000/6 sessions (tax included). Full 6-session pass only.
Capacity: 50 people. Lottery if oversubscribed.
