The selection election for the super underground idol group "GINZAN BOYZ" from Ikuno Silver Mine (Asago City, Hyogo Prefecture), where the winner gets to appear on their second single, was held on June 16th, and "Chisel Seven" was chosen.

GINZAN BOYZ is an idol group of mannequins installed underground at the historic Ikuno Silver Mine and elsewhere. Conceived as "underground idols" to boost tourism, each of the 60 mannequins has a name and profile. They debuted in July 2017 with the single "Gin-Gira Ginzan Paradise (GGGZPDS)".
The results were announced on June 16th, the same day as the AKB General Election, at a special venue on-site in front of many Ginzan Boys fans and media. The Nomiseven members were announced from 7th place down, along with their vote counts. And taking the top spot, surprisingly, was the last-minute participant "Shi★cho" (Mayor Katsuaki Taji) with 761 votes. Appearing via video message, Mayor Tada, who had taken the top spot, expressed his gratitude to the citizens, fans, and attendees for their support in the election. He announced his decision to decline the position, stating, "Considering the Ginzan Boys' future activities, wouldn't it be better to pass this top spot on to them? I want to work together with everyone to build excitement," and called for even greater support for the Ginzan Boys.

Mayor Katsuaki Taji (Shi★cho), who made a surprise appearance in the election and topped the votes, expressed his joy at the top position in a video message during the event and announced he would cede the spot to the "Ginzan Boys."
Following Shi★cho's withdrawal, Asuka-kun moved up to take the top spot. Shizuka-chan, who was originally in 8th place, was then elevated to win a seat.
Voting began on May 26th. The special website featured the BOYZ's "election campaign broadcast" videos and "election posters." Until the June 15th voting deadline, a heated battle unfolded, including election car tours and street speeches in front of Ikuno Station.

Moving forward, Nomi Seven will launch various activities to revitalize tourism, starting with the release of their second single (scheduled for August 8). They are also expected to break boundaries, such as participating in the preliminary round of "NHK's Singing Contest" held in Sasayama City, adjacent to Asago City, on June 16, the day of their release event.

Nomiseven's Koji and Kuroko competed in "NHK's Nodo Jiman," but were unfortunately eliminated in the preliminary round.
