Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toshihiro Yamamoto) has established a new company, THReee entertainment Inc. (THReee), together with SKY Perfect JSAT Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shinji Takada), Akatsuki Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President: Motoki Shioda), Tohoku Shinsha Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toru Uemura) to establish a new company, THReee entertainment Inc. (THReee), which will plan, produce, and sell music live content. The company begins full-scale operations today.
Against the backdrop of robust growth in Japan's music live entertainment market, THReee will plan, produce, and operate entertainment content. This includes planning and producing music live content, selling broadcast and streaming rights domestically and internationally, and developing and providing fan communication apps for sports and music.
SKY Perfect JSAT will provide advice and cooperation in broadcasting and distribution for the content business and event operations. Akatsuki will handle app and system development. Tohoku Shinsha will produce music live content and video content for the app. Our company will develop advertising businesses related to music live content and develop overseas sales channels for broadcast and streaming rights.
Moving forward, our company will collaborate with the new company to strengthen our efforts in new business areas related to music live content.
