Dentsu Group wins 30 awards at the 65th Cannes Lions, including two Grand Prix categories.

At the 65th Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity (※) (Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2018, June 18-22), the Dentsu Group won a total of 30 awards, including the Grand Prix, the highest award in the Digital Craft category, and the Grand Prix for Good, the highest award for outstanding communication work by non-profit organizations and public institutions.

This year's festival received 32,372 entries from approximately 90 countries and regions.
The Dentsu Group's award categories and number of awards are as follows.

<About the Two Grand Prix Winners>
"Project Revoice" (Client: ALS Association), produced by BWM Dentsu, Sydney and awarded the Grand Prix for Good, also received 1 Gold, 1 Silver, and 3 Bronze awards. Additionally, "Aeronaut" (Client: William Patrick Corgan), produced by Isobar, New York, was selected for the Grand Prix in the Digital Craft category.

Additionally, media agencies within the Dentsu Group were involved in a total of 32 award-winning entries (5 Gold, 9 Silver, 18 Bronze).
Furthermore, the inaugural Cannes Lions hackathon, held over two days and focused on six SGD goals (End Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Gender Equality, Clean Water and Sanitation) over two days, the team jointly entered by Dentsu Inc. (Tokyo) and Dentsu Jayme Syfu (Philippines) won first place.
*Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity began as a competition for theatrical advertising films as part of the Cannes Film Festival. It became an independent event in 1954. It is highly regarded among international advertising awards for its scale, jury composition, and the high caliber of winning entries.
This year, judging took place across 26 categories in the following 9 Tracks:
