― Agreement Reached to Acquire 100% of Shares in Major Marketing Technology Company "Amics Digital" ―

Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Toshihiro Yamamoto; Capital: ¥74,609,810,000) has reached an agreement with the shareholders of Amicus Digital Ventures Pty Ltd (Headquarters: Sydney, Managing Director: Blair Cooke, hereinafter "Amicus Digital"), a leading Australian marketing technology company, to acquire 100% of its shares through its overseas headquarters, Dentsu Inc. (※).

Founded in 2015, Amicus Digital Ventures has grown into a company with strengths in digital marketing technology. As a Gold Partner of Salesforce.com in Australia, it provides consulting services to client companies on utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

The purpose of this acquisition is to expand the scale of operations and enhance service capabilities in Australia for "Merkle" (headquartered in Maryland, USA), a data marketing company within our group's global network and brand(※) that specializes in technology-driven data analytics. Going forward, the Company will accelerate its growth strategy in Australia by rebranding Amicus Digital as "Amicus Digital, a Merkle Company" and providing highly competitive data marketing services.

The impact of this transaction on Dentsu's consolidated results for the fiscal year ending December 2018 is expected to be minimal.
