[Recruitment Announcement] Advance Screening & Commemorative Talk for Director Nagahisa's Film "We Are Little Zombies"! Event Notice ~ Advertising and Film: Sometimes They Fight, Sometimes They Get Along ~

The Dentsu Inc. Design Talk Secretariat will hold a special advance screening event for the feature film "We Are Little Zombies" at Dentsu Inc. Hall in Shiodome, Tokyo, on June 3rd, ahead of its nationwide theatrical release in Japan starting June 14th.

Following the film screening, a talk event will be held as Dentsu Inc. Design Talk vol.183, featuring director Masamune Nagaku andYusuke Sato, winner of the 2017 Creator of the Year award.

Two years after the shock of " And Then We Put Goldfish in the Pool, " which won the Short Film Grand Jury Prize at the 33rd Sundance Film Festival, director Nagahisa unleashes his long-awaited first feature film. Already honored at prestigious international film festivals including the 35th Sundance Film Festival and the Berlin International Film Festival, this acclaimed coming-of-age musical masterpiece—now receiving flood-like offers from festivals worldwide—finally arrives in Japan.

Joining Nagahisa for a talk at this advance screening event is his close friend and fellow Dentsu Inc. colleague, Yusuke Sato, who once submitted a joint entry to Young Cannes with him.

These two creators, whose approaches are entirely different, will engage in a free-flowing conversation themed "Advertising and film fight and make up," while viewing each other's work.

【Profile】Born in Tokyo. Affiliated with Dentsu Inc. Content Business Design Center. His short film "And So We Put Goldfish in the Pool" won the Grand Jury Prize in the Short Film category at the Sundance Film Festival, the first Japanese filmmaker to do so. His debut feature film "We Are Little Zombies" won the Special Jury Prize at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and received a Special Commendation at the Berlin International Film Festival. He is close friends with Yusuke Sato, having joined Dentsu Inc. at the same time.
