Rugby World Cup Samoa match peaked at 46.1% viewership!

The Rugby World Cup match between Japan and Samoa, broadcast on October 5th (Nippon TV network, 7:15 PM to 9:34 PM), achieved a high average household rating of 32.8%.

The peak instantaneous rating of 46.1% was recorded at 9:23 PM when Kotaro Matsushima scored the fourth try just before the final whistle.
Japan secured a bonus point and won 38-19, making significant progress toward advancing to the quarterfinals.

Viewership ratings for Japan's matches have been steadily rising since the opening game against Russia, continuing through the Ireland match and now this Samoa game.
Japan will face Scotland in their final pool match on October 13 (live broadcast on Nippon TV network starting at 7:00 PM).
