All Nippon Airways (ANA) signed a contract with the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee on February 6, becoming a Supporting Partner for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Torch Relay.
The company is also a Supporting Partner for the Tokyo Olympic Torch Relay.
The Paralympic Torch Relay will take place from August 13, following the conclusion of the Olympics, until the Opening Ceremony on August 25, aiming to carry forward the excitement and passion of the Olympics.
President Yuji Hirako commented, "As a Supporting Partner, we will support the Paralympic Torch Relay in our own way, embodying 'reassurance, warmth, and bright energy!' Furthermore, as the Official Airline Partner for the Tokyo Games, we are advancing initiatives for the Games' success under the slogan 'HELLO BLUE, HELLO FUTURE ~Let's make 2020 everyone's runway. We look forward to welcoming many customers to Tokyo this summer."
Organizing Committee Chairman Yoshiro Mori commented, "We are very pleased that the company will play a part in the Paralympic Torch Relay, which aims to be an opportunity to consider 'new partnerships' between people and between people and society, with the goal of realizing an inclusive society starting in 2020. We will work together with the company to take on the challenge of making the relay a success."
