"SoftBank 5G" New TV Commercial Bruce Willis plays the role of Doraemon

Starting March 27, SoftBank began airing a new TV commercial for its fifth-generation mobile communication system (5G) brand "SoftBank 5G" featuring a collaboration with Doraemon. Titled "Is 5G Doraemon?" (Appearance Edition), the commercial casts Hollywood actor Bruce Willis in the role of Doraemon.

This live-action commercial was produced under the concept "Is 5G Doraemon?" to express the various possibilities enabled by 5G, likening them to Doraemon's secret gadgets. It coincides with the launch of "SoftBank 5G" commercial services on the same day.
While Willis only appeared briefly introducing himself in the previously aired "Start" edition, this edition features him alongside the familiar Shiroto family members. He is scheduled to appear more prominently in the role of Doraemon going forward.

The Shiroto family members relax in the living room. Mom (Kanako Higuchi) voices her question: "What will the world be like with 5G?" Big Brother (Dante Carver) tilts his head and says, "I don't know." But Aya (Aya Ueto) replies, "It'll make 'I wish I could' actually happen. Like Doraemon." Just as Dad starts to say, "There's no such thing as Doraemon...", a loud noise erupts and a man in blue (Willis) crashes through the roof. The man introduces himself: "I'm Doraemon." Realizing he's at the wrong house, he flies off on his Takekopter.
What kind of story will unfold from here? Stay tuned.
