Kazunori Kawakoshi of Dentsu Inc. has been awarded the 2019 "Creator of the Year" award.

Kazunori Kawakoshi of Dentsu Inc . has been awarded the 2019 "Creator of the Year" prize, sponsored by the Japan Advertising Association (Chairman: Junji Narita).
This award recognizes the individual creator from among the association's member companies who produced the most outstanding creative work in 2019. Since its inception in 1989, this marks the 31st time the award has been presented. This is the 29th time a Dentsu Inc. creator has been selected as Creator of the Year. Yusuke Kanda of Hakuhodo Inc. was also awarded the Creator of the Year award.
Kawakoshi was honored as Creator of the Year for demonstrating bold yet meticulous design skills unique to an art director, winning numerous advertising awards, and for realizing unprecedented concepts in the 2019 terrestrial broadcast project for the film "Your Name."
Additionally, among the eight recipients of the "Creator of the Year Medalist" award this year, our company's Miwako Hosokawa (CDC Creative Director/Copywriter) and Teru Tsujinaka (Copywriter/CM Planner, Creative Bureau, Dentsu Kyushu Inc.) from the domestic Dentsu Group were selected.

I am truly grateful to receive such an honorable award. I believe this recognition is only possible because I have been blessed with understanding clients, an outstanding production team, beloved peers and juniors, respected superiors and seniors, and everyone around me. As I am still very much a novice, I intend to strive even harder to do better work in the future, so as not to bring shame upon the previous recipients of this award.
