[Recruiting Participants] "SCHOP SCHOOL" 2020 Summer Class Online - Held in August

SCHOP SCHOOL (Organized by the SCHOP SCHOOL Executive Committee, Planned and Operated by EduSol), which cultivates children's sensitivity and expressive abilities, is recruiting participants for its online "SCHOP SCHOOL" 2020 Summer Class to be held in August (deadline: July 18).

SCHOP SCHOOL

SCHOP SCHOOL has previously held short-term sessions in summer 2018 and summer/fall 2019; this marks its fourth iteration.
A full-year school is scheduled to open next spring. The program aims to cultivate children's "creativity," "communication skills," and "perseverance" – essential abilities for navigating an uncertain and increasingly diverse society.
Ahead of the full launch next spring, three short-term online schools (summer, fall, winter) are planned for this year.

The 2020 Summer Class, currently accepting applications, offers two courses across three schedules. This marks the first time the program will be held online. Both courses feature exclusive summer class programs, differing from those offered in the upcoming fall and winter sessions.
Participants can choose their preferred theme from Course A: "Create Signs That Work Globally!" or Course B: "Build Things with Programming!"
Each course has separate classes for 1st-2nd graders and 3rd-6th graders. The 1st-2nd grade class features a program designed for parents and children to create together.

Overview

The following two courses are scheduled to be held.

Course A: Create Signs That Work Worldwide! (Children's Art School)

How can you communicate something to many people instantly and without error? Learn how "visual symbols (signs)" found worldwide—like restrooms, emergency exits, and corporate logos—came to be. Then, design your own new sign and bring it to life in a usable form. This course develops the problem-finding skills, expressive abilities, and creativity needed to thrive in our increasingly diverse society.
