[Participants Wanted] "SCHOP SCHOOL" 2020 Autumn Online School to be held in November

SCHOP SCHOOL (organized by SCHOP), which nurtures children's sensibilities and creativity, is recruiting participants for its "SCHOP SCHOOL" 2020 Autumn Online School to be held in November (Deadline: Friday, November 13; first-come, first-served).

This marks the fifth iteration of the SCHOP SCHOOL, following previous short-term sessions in Summer 2018, Summer/Fall 2019, and Summer 2020.
On November 2, 2020, Dentsu Inc., TBS Holdings, and EduSol jointly established Scoop Inc. Starting April 2021, Scoop Inc. will launch a year-round online "SCHOP SCHOOL" program for elementary school students.
Based on creative insights cultivated through solving real-world challenges, the program aims to nurture and develop children's "creativity," "communication skills," and "perseverance" – essential abilities for navigating an uncertain and increasingly diverse society.

The Fall 2020 School, currently accepting applications, will offer two online programs. Both programs are exclusive to the Fall School and will feature different content from previously held classes.
Participants can choose their preferred theme from two programs: Program A "Let's Make 'Nebuta' and Help Revive the Festival" (Children's Art School) and Program B "Delicious Programming" (Programming Lab).
Program A is designed for elementary school students in grades 1-6 and their parents to enjoy creating together. Program B offers classes for grades 1-2 and grades 3-6. The grades 1-2 class involves creating projects together with parents.

Program A: Help Revive the Festival by Making a "Nebuta"!
(Children's Art School)
Nebuta is an art form, a culture, and a festival that Japan takes great pride in. Under the guidance of an Aomori "Nebuta Master," participants challenge themselves to create a Nebuta float. By experiencing its intricate techniques, passion, and the diversity of regional culture, and by shaping it with their own hands, they cultivate imagination and creativity toward tradition. Finally, everyone holds an online festival together. (This is a program co-developed with Aomori Television.)
