[Call for Participants] Online Event: "3rd Nikkei Well-being Symposium" to be held on March 25
The Nikkei Inc. is recruiting participants for its online event, the " 3rd Nikkei Well-being Symposium," to be held on Friday, March 25. Diverse guests from industry, academia, and government will be invited to discuss "happiness and fulfillment." From Dentsu Inc., Mr. Noritaka Obuse, Director of the Future Creative Center, will take the stage.
The movement to explore sustainable growth using human happiness and fulfillment as one of the indicators has gained significant momentum in Japan. The Nikkei, which co-founded the "Well-being Initiative" with the Well-being for Planet Earth Foundation in March 2021 and has explored approaches to well-being that also enhance corporate value alongside 18 participating companies, will hold its third symposium. This event will also invite academics from the "Well-being Society," established last December. Focusing on "subjective well-being"—a concept gaining global attention yet still underdeveloped in discussion—the symposium will explore ways to deepen research and practice on "inner richness," beyond objective factors like income and assets.
