A First in Cannes History! A Musical-Style Seminar

"Voice means philosophy, ideology, mission, message, and more," continues film director and creative director Makoto Nagahisa. At last year's Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, he electrified the audience with an unprecedented musical-style seminar themed "Voice of Creativity." He posed the question: What is the unchanging essence of creativity in the AI era? "Marketing and the latest technology are certainly important, but without Voice, we're just caught up in a money game," says Nagahisa. He won the Special Director Award for Short Films at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. What kind of "Voice" will he express through his creative work going forward? At the heart of creativity, there is always the human element.
