[Recruiting Participants] Dentsu Inc. Internship 2024 "Hands-On Business Production Workshop" (October), "Media Business Workshop" (November)

Dentsu Inc. is recruiting participants for its "Dentsu Inc. Internship 2024" program, which includes the "Hands-On Business Production Workshop – Your Day in Charge" on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25, and the "Media Business Workshop" on Wednesday, November 6 and Thursday, November 21.

The "Hands-On Business Production Workshop - Your Day in Charge" offers group work experiences to explore the role of a business producer: engaging with people, initiating action, creating business, and driving it forward.

The "Media Business Workshop" features instructors who are active on the front lines of media and content businesses, providing a real-world experience of the workplace.

[Overview]
Eligibility:
Individuals under 28 years old as of April 1, 2024 (high school graduate or higher)
     ※You may apply concurrently for other Dentsu Inc. internships.
Schedule: October 24 (Thu) & 25 (Fri), 1:00 PM - 6:30 PM (tentative)
     ※The Hands-On Business Production Workshop is a 1-day program.
     ※The program content is identical on both days; participants may attend either day.
     *Start/end times are subject to change.
Location: Dentsu Inc. Tokyo Office (Shiodome)
     *Subject to change (e.g., online delivery) based on social conditions.
Capacity: 160 participants (80 per session) (planned)
Entry Deadline: Monday, September 23, 12:00 PM (noon)

【Internship Content】

After a lecture explaining the role of a Dentsu Inc. Business Producer, participants will experience the "thinking and approach" of a Business Producer through group work. This includes exploring what insights they derive from information, how they strategize, and how they drive people, teams, and business forward.

    ※Those who have previously participated in an internship at Dentsu Inc. are not eligible to apply.
Participants: 120 (planned)

Selection Method: Document screening only (1 round)
Schedule: Day 1: Wednesday, November 6, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
     Day 2: Thursday, November 21, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM
     *Attendance for both days (2 days total) is required.

Location: Dentsu Inc. Tokyo Office (Shiodome)
     *Subject to change (e.g., online delivery) based on social conditions.
     *For students enrolled at domestic universities/graduate schools outside the Tokyo metropolitan area, partial transportation expenses will be provided according to company policy.

【Internship Content】

We plan to offer various lectures covering real-world case studies originating from "media" and "content," including the stories behind how these projects came to fruition, as well as hands-on workshops where you will actively participate and engage in critical thinking.

【Instructor Profile】


〈Career〉Engaged in
lab and project-based work at initiatives like the Pet Project and Dentsu Inc . Youth Research Department. From 2017 to 2021, worked as a producer for a global sports event, involved consistently from opening to closing ceremonies. Subsequently transitioned into radio and television in 2022.
〈Current Primary Responsibilities〉Broadcast Station Liaison: Handles various tasks related to broadcast stations, referred to as "station liaison." Responsibilities span program sales, special program planning, projects, sports, and more.


〈Career〉After working in TV station management
, media planning, and creative departments, seconded to AbemaTV. Since 2021, responsible for video business promotion within the Radio,TV Business Produce Division (Radio,TV BP).
〈Current Primary Responsibilities〉Belongs to the Radio & TV BP Division's Video Business Promotion Department 2. Engaged in sales desk operations for video platforms. Directs and handles sales (planning and buying) both online and offline to maximize the value of content (media).

Teppei Yasubuchi
〈Career〉 After gaining experience in digital, sales, and incubation departments, began working in the sports field in 2010. Launched a new Sports x Digital division in 2021, which was renamed last year, and now leads overall solutions.
〈Current Primary Responsibilities 〉Develops and produces new solutions for clients, media, and sports organizations, leveraging diverse sports content including major international sporting events. Projects include "OUR MOMENTS."

Soya Kiyota
〈Career〉 After working in event planning /production and PR/promotion, he has broadly handled content domains including large-scale IP exhibitions, anime production, music festivals, and fashion shows.
〈Current Primary Responsibilities〉 Leading the content × data domain, driving the construction of data infrastructure and methodology development to realize data-driven content business. Producing various content businesses, including providing solutions utilizing content and IP growth planning/consulting.
