On March 9, Aeroflot Russian Airlines hosted the "Aeroflot Presents Manchester United Trophy Tour" event at Roppongi Hills Arena in Tokyo, showcasing the English Premier League championship trophy. The company is Russia's flagship carrier and Europe's largest airline group. Since July 2013, it has partnered with Manchester United, the world's most successful football club, serving as the team's official carrier. At the start, Sergey Moiseev, President of Aeroflot's Japan branch, stated, "Aeroflot is committed to supporting sports. We are delighted to hold this event with Manchester United. We aim to further strengthen our ties with Japan." Attendee and soccer fan/talent Teruyuki Tsuchida expressed his excitement, saying, "It's amazing to see the real thing, not a replica!" Legendary forward Andy Cole, who led the club to five league titles, appeared on stage. Now serving as the club's ambassador, Cole personally presented the trophy to attendees. He revealed a slight dent on the trophy, explaining it happened when someone dropped it in the excitement of victory. "This is the reward for a team that conquered 38 fierce battles," he said, expressing his affection for the trophy.
