[Call for Participants] Space and Editing (Dentsu Inc.) × Future Creation Laboratory (Nomura Kogei) Open Research Program "BA?" Session 2 Held January 27
Dentsu Inc.'s spatial design team " Place and Editing " and Nomura Kogei's Future Creation Laboratory will hold the second session of their open research program "BA?" in Roppongi, Tokyo, on Monday, January 27.
Field and Editing is a specialized team that designs brands with a focus on real "spaces" and "experiences," using a story-driven approach and a sustainable perspective. The "spaces" they design for services span diverse areas including stores, commercial facilities, events, parks, libraries, hotels, vehicles, offices, and distilleries.
At BA?, members with diverse expertise engage in dialogue based on their work and experiences to explore the concept of "space." The theme for the second session is "When Space is Born." It will consider "space" by crossing the boundaries between software and hardware.

Joined Nomura Kogei Co., Ltd. in 2001. As a designer, she directs a wide range of spatial, exhibition, and experiential content for corporate and regional promotions. With an increase in projects addressing social issues like diversity and SDGs, she also oversees the company's social good strategy. Since 2024, she has concurrently served as Design Department Manager and Head of NOMLAB, the Future Creation Research Institute, leading R&D activities focused on creating future spaces rooted in creativity. What excites me most right now is creating projects that connect the "special skills" of diverse people and companies to forge new expressions, experiences, and interesting things.

He tackles challenges across domains—commercial facilities, specialty stores, entertainment venues, corporate communication spaces, workplaces, and regional revitalization—creating "sparks" for community building and spatial experiences.
