「こどもの日」って、何なんだろう？クリスマスに、誕生日。みんなからプレゼントもらったり、お祝いしてもらえる日はたくさんあるよ。あれ、こどもの日って、そういう日とどう違うんだろう？なんで、いまいち盛り上がらないんだろう？

ひょっとしていまのままだと、忘れられちゃう？こどもの日って、小さな男の子がいる家以外はあんまり関係なさそうよね。しかも5月5日はGWの締めくくりだから、旅行帰りで疲れてたりもして、オトナの人たちからすると、なおさらにわざわざ何かする気になりにくいのかも。

「こどもの日」を「こどもに帰って楽しむ日」にしちゃお。オトナの人たちだって、たまには、こどもに帰って遊びたいんじゃない？こどものころの友達と会ったり、こどものころのお菓子を食べたり、こどものころの遊びで遊んだり。きっといまより楽しい日になるよー。

Christmas, Valentine's Day. Lately, Halloween too. I have some memories of those. Even Setsubun.
But when it comes to Children's Day? I have absolutely no memories. Or rather, I probably never did anything for it.
So, this time, our "slightly better idea" is to redefine the meaning of this ambiguous holiday.
Christmas and Valentine's Day were originally redefined by someone for their own convenience.
So why not just make it something wonderful for ourselves?
