In Indonesia, a country stretching east to west, the rainy season runs from October to April. While the peak timing varies by region, Jakarta sees increased rainfall from January to March, often leading to flooding.

This rainy season in Jakarta, Kao Indonesia created four lifeboats shaped like its Laurier sanitary napkins and donated them to the charity ACT. The boats feature the slogan "Stay Dry with Laurier," highlighting the product's core benefit. Dentsu Inc. Indonesia handled the project.
The Laurier-shaped lifeboats, which can carry up to 10 people in addition to the rower, will aid in rescuing people evacuating during heavy rains. They are also planned for use in regions outside Jakarta going forward.
