The press corps gathered at the Marunouchi Building! World Cup Public Viewing

During the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil (until July 14), the "2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Public Viewing in Marunouchi" (Organized by: The Marunouchi Public Viewing Executive Committee / Special Cooperation: Mitsubishi Estate / Sponsored by: Sony Marketing) was held at "Marucube" and "Marunouchi Cafe ease" on the first floor of the Marunouchi Building in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.

On June 20, the public viewing for Japan's second match against Greece took place.

With kickoff at 7:00 AM, the convenient location for commuters and students, combined with the comfortable environment offering food and drinks at the adjacent cafe, proved popular. A long line formed the previous day for the distribution of numbered tickets.

On the day, 200 supporters gathered from early morning. Many wore their jerseys over their shirts to cheer, and with media outlets sending reporters, the venue was filled with anticipation, hoping this time would bring a moment of jubilation. Those unable to enter the venue watched through the glass at the Sony 4K-compatible BRAVIA. The match saw Greece receive a red card for a foul, giving Japan the advantage. Unfortunately, they couldn't find the net, resulting in a scoreless draw.

From the 20th onward, it has been sending supportive messages for the upcoming match against Colombia on the 25th: "Victory next time," "Now prepare for the next one," "Focus only on winning," and "Pour everything you've built over four years into this."

The Marunouchi Building's public viewing will also be held for the Colombia match on the 25th, with admission tickets scheduled to be distributed starting at 5:00 PM the day before.

Kickoff is at 5:00 AM. Will you sleep and watch later? Or stay up and watch?
