Everyone, I'm terribly sorry for the long wait. Here's the continuation of our interview with Raul and Mihai. With a whopping 1500-character update after a three-week gap between interviews—that's a blazingly slow pace of 0.013bps in data transfer terms—I imagine you all, living in this turbulent digital age, must be utterly dumbfounded... Nevertheless, undeterred, here's a quick recap of last time: we were hearing from two young global creatives at Dentsu America, hoping they might offer us working in Japan some courage, hope, or motivation. So, here we go!
Sasaki: So, how do you two stay updated on the latest trends, expressions, technologies, and other creative inspiration?
Mihai: We definitely use Twitter and Facebook, of course. I also really like Instagram for inspiration. I love how photos let you see the story just by looking at them.
Raul: I believe that if you meet and talk with people, information comes to you even when you're not in front of a computer. In that sense, being in New York is really great. And I always jot down any ideas I find in Google Drive.
Sasaki: I see. Using modern tools, but not relying solely on them. I often get asked, "What sites do you check for the latest info?" Honestly, I don't have any specific ones. I just stick my nose into everything and am super curious.
Well, putting myself aside for a moment, next question. Why did you two decide to come to New York?
Mihai: I think New York is the cultural capital. All my friends were heading there, and I couldn't pass up the chance, so I came.
Raul: Honestly, New York has so much that inspires you. You can't really grasp what a place like this is like just from hearing about it. You have to go and live there. I originally planned to stay just one year, but I made friends, found my wife, and now it's been three years.
Sasaki: Wow, finding a spouse in New York? If only I were 15 years younger... (distant look). Ah, well, then, one last question. Do you have any message for young people in Japan?

Damn it, I forgot to take alternate angle photos of Raul and Mihai... Well, here's a photo that says, "Do you want to go to New York?!" instead.
Raul: From me, I guess it's this: don't just have one mindset; you should have different perspectives. To enrich yourself as a person, you have to go to different places and live there. Life is way too short!
Mihai: I love my homeland too. But gaining a different context and learning abroad is amazing. When you return home afterward, you really see how you've grown. If you stay only within your own country, you can't see yourself clearly. Going out lets you see yourself much better.
Sasaki: You two have some great points. I wish we'd met sooner. If you ever get the chance, definitely come to Japan. I want to introduce you to all kinds of interesting people here, take you to eat delicious sushi, and show you our headquarters building—it's so tall it'll make you laugh. Thanks for today!
Mihai,Raul: We definitely want to visit Japan!
And so, that wraps up our two-part short interview. Listening to them, their clear vision for life made me feel a mix of urgency and regret—like the weight of my own lost fifteen years suddenly bearing down on me.
To all the young people reading this, I really hope you'll take a chance and dive into different countries!
