On November 4, the International Culture Association held the "Japan National Selection Contest" at Laforet Museum Roppongi in Minato Ward, Tokyo, to select Japan's representative for the "2015 Miss International World Pageant."
The event featured kimono, swimsuit, and evening gown judging for the 31 contestants who had already passed document screening and preliminary rounds. After selecting 10 finalists, the Japanese representative was chosen following speech evaluations.
The title of "2015 Miss International Japan" was awarded to 18-year-old university student Airi Nakagawa. Additionally, Rina Matsuda was selected as 2nd Runner-Up, Yuki Fujinami as 3rd Runner-Up, and Haruka Nagao as 4th Runner-Up.
Nakagawa will compete in next year's world finals.
