The Ad Museum Tokyo in Shiodome , Tokyo, will host the exhibition "Creation.D&AD Awards 2014" from the 8th, showcasing the winning works from the 2014 D&AD Awards, a globally renowned design and advertising award originating in London, UK (runs until March 1st next year). The exhibition is organized by the Hideo Yoshida Memorial Foundation and D&AD.

Established in 1963 by the UK-based non-profit D&AD, the D&AD Awards are considered the world's most challenging design and advertising awards to win due to their rigorous judging standards. The award's symbol, known as the "Yellow Pencil," is given to outstanding works in each category. The highest honor, the "Black Pencil," has been awarded only to creative work that astonishes people, sparks debate, and pioneers a new era.
This year, " Sound of Honda/Ayrton Senna 1989," which swept creative awards both domestically and internationally, claimed the Black Pencil honor. This marks Japan's second time winning the top prize since 2008. Additionally, Japan received five Yellow Pencils, demonstrating a strong presence not only in categories like graphic design and packaging but also in cutting-edge fields such as digital design.
The venue will showcase all award-winning works, including 7 Black Pencils, 2 White Pencils, 49 Yellow Pencils, and nominations.
