Interactive Program Guide (IPG Inc.) and D2C Inc. will begin providing program information for mmbi's NOTTV (Notty V) to the jointly operated Android smartphone electronic program guide (EPG) app "G Guide Program Guide (Docomo Edition)" starting Wednesday, March 25.
By linking with the NOTTV official app, users can watch NOTTV directly from G Guide Program Guide, similar to a One Seg app. Additionally, NOTTV program information is now compatible with G Guide Program Guide features such as program search, reminders, and custom program guides.
① NOTTV Official App Viewing Integration
Selecting NOTTV via the date/broadcast band selection button displays the NOTTV program guide. Tapping the "Launch App" button from an individual program detail screen launches the NOTTV official app, allowing immediate access to any of the 8 channels, including 6 popular channels also broadcast on BS/CS.
② Displaying NOTTV Program Information in Program Search Results
Just like terrestrial, BS, and CS programs, searching by keywords such as program name or talent name will display NOTTV programs.
③ Adding NOTTV Program Information to the Reminder Function
NOTTV is now supported in the reminder feature, which sends push notifications just before your favorite programs or talents air.
Registering a reminder for a NOTTV program from its details page will trigger a push notification right before the program airs.
④ Adding NOTTV Program Information to Custom Program Guides
NOTTV programs are now supported in the custom program guide, just like terrestrial, BS, and CS programs.
