Beyond financial backing, this fund focuses on providing extensive business support by leveraging the problem-solving resources cultivated by the Dentsu Group, aiming to assist entrepreneurs in bringing innovation to the world.
The pace of change in the business environment surrounding the Dentsu Group and the advertising industry is accelerating, making open innovation through collaboration with promising external partners increasingly important. Against this backdrop, the Group will use this fund to promote investment in ambitious venture companies creating unseen futures, as well as new domain development through business development support for portfolio companies.
The Group has already actively invested in and promoted collaboration with venture companies through funds such as the 'Dentsu Digital Inc. Fund,' managed by its subsidiary Dentsu Digital Inc. Holdings. The newly established fund will primarily invest in overseas venture companies and Japanese companies in the seed/early stages, building a complementary relationship with the Dentsu Digital Inc. Fund and accelerating open innovation across the entire Group.
