Regarding social logins, Facebook shares accounted for 62%, significantly outpacing others and securing the top position.
Social login is a feature allowing users to log into brand or service sites requiring membership registration using accounts from various platforms like Facebook, Google, or Twitter. By eliminating cumbersome procedures like form filling, it lowers the barrier to registration for users. As consumer data acquisition grows increasingly important, the number of sites implementing social login features is rapidly increasing.
Gigya, which handles social login implementation, analyzed 58 million logins from social media to sites and apps of 700 brands and publishers. In Q4 last year, Facebook led with a 62% share, followed by Google at 24%, Twitter at 7%, and Yahoo at 4%. While Facebook shows overwhelming strength, the trend from Q3 and Q4 reveals Google steadily gaining ground.

A Gigya research analyst noted, "Facebook not only holds a dominant share in social networking but also commands high trust in security and privacy protection."
