On February 10, Dentsu Inc.'s overseas headquarters, Dentsu Aegis Network, announced it had reached an agreement with shareholders to acquire 100% of the shares in Achtung BV, a leading Dutch creative agency.
Founded in 2005, Achtung BV holds a strong presence in both mass advertising and digital advertising in the Netherlands, providing high-quality services to diverse companies in sectors such as "Information & Communications," "Automotive," and "Home Appliances." It is particularly renowned for its digital creative capabilities, having been selected three times as the Netherlands' "Interactive Agency of the Year" and winning numerous awards at world-renowned advertising festivals such as Cannes Lions.
Following the acquisition, Dentsu Inc. will integrate Actung into the network of mcgarrybowen, one of the nine global network brands* within the Dentsu Group and a creative agency.
This will establish mcgarrybowen's third network hub in Europe, following London and Paris, significantly enhancing its presence in the region.
