Dreams and Disaster Relief Support Simultaneously ~ Dream Jumbo Lottery Tickets Now on Sale
The "Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Relief Dream Jumbo Lottery" (694th National Autonomous Lottery) and the "Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Relief Dream Jumbo Mini 70 Million" (695th National Autonomous Lottery), where a portion of proceeds supports areas affected by the Kumamoto earthquake, went on sale on May 11.
On the same day, a commemorative event was held at the Nishi-Ginza Chance Center in Chuo Ward, Tokyo, featuring a talk show with George Tokoro and Go Ayano, who serve as the lottery's CM characters.

The "Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Relief Dream Jumbo Lottery" features a grand prize worthy of its "Jumbo" name, with a combined first prize and adjacent prizes totaling 700 million yen. The other lottery, the "Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Relief Dream Jumbo Mini 70 Million," also offers significant chances for large wins, including 80 first prizes of 70 million yen each, and 800 second prizes of 1 million yen each. This lottery is drawing attention as one offering many chances for large wins.
At the start, Mr. Tokoro stated, "While buying a lottery ticket means purchasing an individual's dream, the proceeds help the disaster-stricken areas and bring smiles to their residents. I sincerely hope many people will buy tickets," calling for purchases of this lottery that supports the affected areas.
During the talk show, the new TV commercial themed "People Who Need 700 Million Yen" also became a topic of discussion.

The grand and unique story involves a member of the Earth Defense Force, played by Ayano, purchasing the giant robot "Jambolion" created by Tokoro, who plays a genius scientist. Jambolion's price is 700 million yen, the same as the combined prize money for the first prize and the prizes immediately before and after it.
"I think it's cheap for a robot. I actually said it should be more expensive," Tokoro shared a behind-the-scenes anecdote from filming. Ayano responded with a witty exchange: "Maybe we could make it so the robot has no insides, just the exterior costs 700 million yen..."
Tokoro, who played the Jumbolion's developer in the commercial, drew laughter with his car enthusiast's practical take: "I'd love to own one someday and ride it. But I'd wonder what license plate it'd get and how the vehicle inspection would work."

Finally, Ayano commented, "While it's for disaster relief, I'd be happy if everyone bought this Dream Jumbo Lottery and spun their own dreams. I plan to buy some myself." Tokoro added, "If you usually buy 10 tickets, buy 13. Don't push yourself, but please buy a few more. I want to buy more too," appealing for support for the disaster areas through the lottery.
Sales of the "Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Area Support Dream Jumbo Lottery" and the "Kumamoto Earthquake Disaster Area Support Dream Jumbo Mini 70 Million" run until June 3rd. The draw will be held on June 9th.
