The exhibition "What Was the Most Beloved Advertising Copy of the Year? TCC Advertising Awards Exhibition 2016," showcasing the 2016 winning entries of the TCC Awards—which selects ads based on copywriting—is being held at the Ad Museum Tokyo in Shiodome (until September 24). Admission is free.
The exhibition features the winning works: one TCC Grand Prix, 14 TCC Awards, and three Jury Chairman's Awards in the General Division, along with one Best Newcomer Award and 23 Newcomer Awards in the Newcomer Division.
The Tokyo Copywriters Club (TCC) is an organization for copywriters and CM planners. By hosting the "TCC Awards" and maintaining a stance focused on language expertise, it leads the advancement of communication techniques in Japan's advertising industry.
During the exhibition, a "Copywriter's Bookshelf" corner will display favorite books of copywriters. Talk events featuring award winners will also be held. For details, visit the ADMT website ( www.admt.jp/index.html ).
