Fujifilm A special edition featuring Kirin Kiki, and the annual "Capture the New Year" commercial will air.

Fujifilm will begin airing its annual New Year's TV commercial, "Capture the New Year♪ 2019: Everyone's Wall Deco," starting December 29th.

The commercial features actress Suzu Hirose, who serves as the image character for print-related products, alongside talents Kazushige Nagashima, Yoshizumi Ishihara, and DAIGO.

The setting is Hirose's room as she welcomes the New Year. The three men arrive and make a lively entrance.
Inspired by the beautiful photos and display methods decorating Hirose's walls, the three men begin decorating their own "special photos" one after another.

Through the four people getting excited in front of photos like private shots of Hirose's childhood, Nagashima's professional baseball player days, Ishihara's childhood, and a two-shot of DAIGO with his grandfather, a former prime minister, the commercial introduces the appeal of "WALL DECOR," a service that lets you have photos processed into panels and displayed on your wall.

■ "Kirin Kiki 2018 Year-End Special" Edition

The company will release a special 60-second movie expressing gratitude and remembrance for actress Kirin Kiki, who appeared in Fujifilm TV commercials for 40 years and passed away in September. It will be available for a limited time from December 26, 2018, to January 31, 2019, on the company's official website and YouTube channel.

Additionally, it will air once during the Nippon TV network's "The World's Most Wanted Lesson: For a Good New Year! Things You Can Do in 3 Days 2-Hour Special" (7:00 PM - 8:54 PM) broadcast on December 29.

Since his first appearance in 1978, Mr. Kimura starred in numerous Fujifilm advertisements and commercials, including "Capture the New Year," "Fujicolor Prints," and "Utsurun Desu." The phrase from his 1980 commercial, "Beautiful people become more beautiful, and others become beautiful in their own way," is said to have been his own idea and became a catchphrase at the time.

The special movie features highlights from her 268 commercials, including the "Fujicolor Print: Your Name" edition, the "Capture New Year's: Tama-chan" edition (2002-03) where she portrayed "Tama-chan," the seal that appeared in the Tama River, and her final appearance in the "Capture New Year's with Popular People and New Year's/Year Album" edition (2017-18), which was her final appearance.

On the official YouTube channel ( https://www.youtube.com/user/FUJIFILMjapan ), in addition to the main videos, you can also watch interview videos where the cast members from the "Each Wall Deco" edition share their memories with Ms. Kiki.
