January 23, 2019

Dentsu Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshihiro Yamamoto) has agreed to collaborate with Amobee, Inc. (Headquarters: California; CEO: Kim Perel; hereinafter "Amobee"), a global marketing technology company based in the United States, on developing services utilizing the brand intelligence analysis provided by Amobee. Service provision begins today.

Amobee's Brand Intelligence is a patented technology that comprehensively captures over 60 billion daily actions—including tweets, posts, comments, likes, and shares on social media—along with content consumption data (such as page and video views) from internet users, including the silent majority who do not post on SNS or the internet. This enables the discovery of user insights.

By analyzing diverse factors—such as the country/region of origin, publishing media, information volume, and temporal changes of online content (text, video, images, etc.)—and further applying statistical methods like correlation and cluster analysis by Amobee's data scientists, this technology enables the application of insights throughout the entire process of brand activity strategy formulation and implementation planning.

By combining Amobee's analytical capabilities with our proprietary marketing and creative problem-solving expertise, we will provide our client companies with unprecedented, one-stop digital marketing services.

Specifically, this enables the PDCA cycle for marketing activities that was previously difficult to achieve. This includes: extracting potential targets who respond to specific content; visualizing current challenges and improvement methods for messaging and media allocation to drive brand appeal; formulating strategies based on Key Goal Indicators (KGIs) and setting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve them; optimizing digital ad operations based on data from high-response rich media and creative assets; and conducting highly accurate effectiveness verification (such as campaign analysis and brand lift analysis) using audience data after ad delivery.

Brand Intelligence currently supports analysis of English, French, and German content (with other languages under development), enabling its use in strategizing campaigns targeting overseas markets outside Japan.

Going forward, both companies will work to systematize and deepen these services based on Brand Intelligence analysis, providing services that contribute to the advancement of client companies' marketing activities.
