The Osaka Advertising Association held the final judging session and awards party for the 2nd "HaHaHa Osaka Creativity Awards" on January 30 at Misono Universe in Chuo Ward, Osaka City.
The award was established in 2019 with the aim of "gathering 'interesting' content that moves people from across Japan to Osaka, discovering the creators who made it, and celebrating them wholeheartedly." It solicited creative works across many genres—not just advertising, but also broadcasting, music, film, etc.—in three categories: "Made me gasp in surprise," "Made me go 'Haaah' in admiration," and "Made me laugh 'Ha ha ha'."
At the final judging session, a panel including Chairman Kenichiro Mogi (neuroscientist), Ai Sakai (Yoshimoto Shinkigeki troupe leader), Shinji Hamazaki (CM director), Jiro Nishida (Yomiuri TV chief producer), and Mika+Rika (free stock idol) evaluated a total of 27 finalist works.

After all entries were presented, the "Ha Award" went to the work that elicited the most startled "Ha!" reactions. The "HaHa Award" was given to the work that drew the most impressed "Ha-ha!" or "Wow!" responses. The "HaHaHa Award" was awarded to the work that made people laugh the hardest with "Ha-ha-ha!" laughter. Winners received a trophy and a cash prize of ¥88,888.
Additionally, a "Special Award" was given to works that didn't fit the other categories but which the judges felt deserved recognition. The winning works are as follows.
