At KDDI's "iPhone 12 Pro/iPhone 12 Launch Event," Orihime and Thumbelina Experience 5G
KDDI held an online "iPhone 12 Pro/iPhone 12 Launch Event" on October 23, announcing the devices and new services available starting that day.

At the outset, Vice President Takashi Tokai stated, "Today, we finally launch the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12, both fully 5G-compatible. We offer various pricing plans and diverse packages through partnerships with numerous content providers. Enhanced specifications significantly improve camera functions and more. Apple Watch has also become easier to use."
Regarding 5G, he added, "The transition from 2G to 3G enabled photo sharing, and the shift to 4G made video streaming accessible anywhere. With 5G, we'll deliver an even better experience, such as automatically streaming videos in high quality based on the user's location and plan. We want you to enjoy the ultimate experience with the new iPhone and au 5G."

He also introduced campaigns like the "5G Autumn Special Campaign" and the "Kaetoku Program." For communication fees, he announced multiple unlimited data plans on the 5G network and the "au Wide Student Discount," which applies to everyone up to age 29.

During the talk session, guests Rina Kawaei (playing Orihime) and Elaiza Ikeda (playing Oyubi-hime) from the "Santaro" series commercials appeared. They celebrated the morning's new iPhone launch with a countdown.
When the new TV commercial "The Crane's Swipe" was shown, Kawaei commented, "This must be how people who waited until today for the new iPhone launch felt," while Ikeda remarked, "I wonder what the Santaro characters saw."




In the second part, talent and iPhone fan Terada Akiyuki and video creator Seto Koji joined the discussion for a 5G talk.
