The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) will host CEATEC, Asia's largest international exhibition of IT technology and electronics, online on Tuesday, October 19.
JEITA defines "Smart Home" as the initiative where home appliances and devices connect with "social system services"—such as social infrastructure and various services—to provide people with safety, security, and comfort while optimizing society. JEITA is advancing efforts to create this market.
In the session "The Potential of Home Appliance Data: AIoT Cloud (Sharp Group) and Dentsu Inc./Mitsubishi Electric's New Challenges," an employee from Dentsu Data & Technology Center, which is developing the marketing solution "domus optima" utilizing IoT home appliance data, will also participate.
The session will examine case studies of AIoT Cloud (Sharp Group) and Dentsu Inc. and Mitsubishi Electric's new initiatives, which leverage home appliance data—a key to realizing smart homes—and explore the potential of the smart home market.
