Scop School (operated by Scop), a school for elementary school students that cultivates "practical creativity," is recruiting participants for its summer school program held from July to August (first-come, first-served).
Scop School is a next-generation creative school for elementary students. It unearths and nurtures the "practical creativity" needed to live authentically in tomorrow's uncertain society. Instructors include professionals from various fields active at the forefront of society and professionals from the education field. Learning and growth are achieved through a uniquely designed methodology based on insights into creativity that drives society and various global educational theories.
This summer, three programs will be held at both the physical school and online. Participants will explore dinosaurs and extinct animals with Dr. Makoto Manabe from the National Museum of Nature and Science; consider fun and safe smartphone rules for children at home with Mr. Soichiro Yamazaki, author of the best-selling "Children's Six Laws"; and take on an upgraded version of last year's popular program led by TBS announcer Takayuki Hasumi. Together, they will challenge themselves to think, communicate, and create while learning authentic wisdom and perspectives from professionals active in society.
