Children's Book "Let's Learn About Diversity Together: Understanding Diversity (Volume 1)" by Dentsu Inc. Diversity Lab Released Today
Dentsu Inc. Diversity Lab, a specialized organization within Dentsu Inc. that conducts research and analysis in the field of diversity and inclusion and develops solutions, released the children's book " Let's Learn About Diversity Together: Understanding Diversity (Volume 1) " (Bunken Publishing) on May 30.
Targeted at elementary school students from the middle grades onward, this children's book series covers diversity in general. Volume 2 will be released in June, Volume 3 in July, Volume 4 in August, and Volume 5 in September, completing the five-volume set.
Volume 1 explores "What is Diversity?" through familiar daily life, human rights, and global issues, introducing four categories: culture, gender, generations, and disability.

This book tackles the challenges of 'diversity' found everywhere, drawing on insights from Dentsu Inc. Diversity Lab, which supports corporate and societal initiatives. Starting with the fundamental question 'What is diversity?', it explains through accessible illustrations and manga: an aging society with a low birth rate, and disability and universal design. It uses rich data and case studies, explained with approachable illustrations and manga. It's packed with features to encourage active research learning, such as Q&A sections for key point review and worksheet data.
