Dentsu Inc. Youth Research Department Wakamon's "Flat Management" Release Commemorative Talk Event to be Held on September 5

A talk event commemorating the release of the book"Flat Management: 7 Ways Leaders Create 'Comfortable Teams'" (MDN Corporation) by Dentsu Inc. Youth Research Department Wakamon will be held on Tuesday, September 5th at Aoyama Book Center Main Store.

Titled "What Makes a Leader Think Like One Who Creates a 'Comfortable Team'?" this event features Masaharu Fujiyoshi, Editor-in-Chief of Forbes JAPAN; Takashi Maeda, Representative Director of NASU; Keiko Kojima, essayist and talent; and Rei Nagi from Dentsu Inc. Youth Research Department.

Precisely because these are challenging times, leaders are expected to deliver diverse outcomes, making efficient work increasingly vital. We will explore how to enhance productivity while tackling difficult challenges, considering the leadership qualities, competencies, actions, and communication required today.

【Speaker Profile】

Masaharu Fujiyoshi
Director, LinkTies; Editor-in-Chief, Forbes JAPAN Editorial Department. His book "The Fukui Model: The Future Starts in the Regions" (Bungeishunju) was a finalist for the 2015 Shincho Documentary Award. Its Korean edition was released in 2016 and ranked #1 in "Books of 2016" selected by OhmyNews Korea's book review committee. In 2017, it was selected as one of 20 books recommended for university students by the Korea Publishing Culture Industry Promotion Agency. Other works include "Business Transformation! Decisions of 11 Post-Capitalist Companies" (Bungeishunju) and his latest book, "Editing the Future: The Think Tank API Experiment" (Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha).

Takashi Maeda
After graduating from the Design Department at Osaka University of Arts, he joined Nintendo. After about 15 years working on graphic design for advertising and promotions, he became independent in 2016. He established NASU. Advocating "Achieving Through Design," he focuses on design management for companies. He runs the creator community "Maeda Design Studio." Published the business book Winning Design with Gentosha in March 2021 and the design book Demon Feedback: The Power of Design Grows Through Constructive Criticism with Mdn Corporation in September of the same year. His strength lies in designs with a playful spirit.

Keiko Kojima
Essayist, TV personality. Visiting Researcher at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies. Worked at TBS from 1995 to 2010. Appeared on TV and radio as an announcer. Won the 36th Galaxy Awards DJ Personality Award (Radio Division) in 1999. After becoming independent, she has been actively involved in various media appearances, lectures, and writing activities centered on D&I. In 2014, she moved her family's base to Australia while continuing to work in Japan. She has numerous serialized columns and books in publications including AERA, VOGUE JAPAN, mi-mollet, and Nikkei ARIA. Recent work: Dialogue collection "Living in a Middle-Aged Men's Society is Tough" (PHP Shinsho).

Nagi Rei
Dentsu Inc. Producer. Joined Dentsu Inc.'s Youth Research Department, Wakamon, about 10 years ago, researching evolving youth demographics from the Yutori Generation to Generation Z. Engages in diverse areas including project management, concept and strategy development, product and space development, and new business development. Co-authored "The Youth Divide: Dentsu Inc.'s Communication Strategies for the Future" (MDN Corporation, 2016).
