"Aim for Commercialization! Ultimate Noko-san Recipe Contest & Ultimate Noko-san Restaurant 2024" Open for Submissions Today - No Peko Lab
The No Peko Lab, a project within Dentsu Inc. Sodejin (Social Design Engine) aiming to solve all issues related to "children and food," began accepting entries on Monday, July 1st for its food loss reduction recipe idea contest & restaurant project: "Aim for Commercialization! The Ultimate Noko-san Recipe Contest & Ultimate Noko-san Restaurant 2024." High school and university students are eligible. Supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the Ministry of the Environment, the Consumer Affairs Agency, and others. Deadline: Saturday, August 31, 5:00 PM (must arrive online by this time).
The contest aims to make using leftovers commonplace among young people by promoting food loss reduction in an enjoyable way. By also considering commercialization, it seeks to encourage corporate efforts to reduce food loss, ultimately contributing to the eradication of hunger and poverty.
Winning entries will receive prizes including potential commercialization by companies. Additionally, recipe presentations and tasting evaluations will be held at a one-day-only restaurant event on September 9 (Goo-Goo Day*) at Musashino University's Ariake Campus "LOHAS Cafe ARIAKE".
*September 9th is designated as "Goo Goo Day" (officially recognized by the Japan Anniversary Association), a day for everyone to think about and take action on "children and food."

Required Ingredients: ① Bread crusts ② Ingredients often left over at home
Prizes: Product development by companies, corporate website features, luxury sponsor gifts, and more
Eligibility: High school students and university students
Submission Period: Monday, July 1st to Saturday, August 31st, 17:00 (must arrive online by this time)

Sodegin (Social Design Engine) that aims to solve all issues related to "children and food" in a fun and impactful way by collaborating with various companies, organizations, and society at large, with the themes of hunger and poverty as its pillars.
