Dentsu Aegis Network announced the top 10 U.S. TV programs with the most-watched commercials in 2015, based on Nielsen C3 ratings (live viewing + within 3 days after broadcast). The survey covered non-sports and non-news programs aired during primetime between January 1 and November 30.
Ranking first was CBS's "NCIS," now in its 13th season, with an average audience of 16.8 million viewers. Second place went to CBS's "The Big Bang Theory" with 15.9 million viewers. Third place went to Fox's "Empire" with 14.8 million viewers. From cable television, AMC's "The Walking Dead" ranked fifth with 13.3 million viewers.
