Ad Age reports on the online view count rankings for commercials aired in connection with the Olympics. Nike's corporate campaign commercial topped the list with approximately 112 million views, significantly outpacing second-place P&G (approximately 70 million views). Samsung Electronics ranked third (approximately 55 million views).
The video features anonymous people of all ages—from babies to children to adults—moving their bodies and playing sports. After narration stating, "They will one day stand at the top of their communities, the world," and "When you push beyond your limits, you unlock your greatest potential," the familiar tagline "Just Do It" appears. Just when you think it's over... "It's not over yet!" The tagline shatters into pieces, and Olympic athletes like Neymar and Serena Williams join in, unleashing a series of outrageous plays that spiral into complete chaos...
